Hudson Valley New York

Day 1 - Sunday, July 9 - A morning departure begins your tour to Hudson Valley New York. Today, you will travel to Kingston, NY, where you will check into your hotel. Dinner is included at the hotel this evening.

Day 2 - Monday, July 10 - Breakfast is included at your hotel before meeting your local guide to visit the home of Franklin D. Roosevelt and Hyde Park. You will have lunch on your own at Eveready Diner. This afternoon you will do a tour and tasting at Milbrook Winery. Dinner is included this evening at the Culinary Institute of America before returning to your hotel.

Day 3 - Tuesday, July 11 - Breakfast is included at your hotel before meeting your local guide and departing for Vanderbilt Mansion. You will have lunch on your own in Rhinebeck. This Afternoon you will have a guided tour of Wilderstein, home of FDR cousin and confidante Daisy Suckley. Then you will return to your hotel to freshen up before an included dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 4 - Wednesday, July 12 - After an included breakfast you will meet your step-on-guide and depart for Olana, home of Hudson River School painter Frederic Church, where you will have a guided tour. You will have lunch on your own in Hudson before touring the Hudson Valley Malt and seeing how grain is transformed into gold! Next, you will experience a tour and tasting at the Hudson Valley Distillers and then return to the hotel to freshen up before dinner. Dinner will be included at a local restaurant.

Day 5 - Thursday, July 13 - After breakfast meet your guide and depart for West Point. You will have a guided tour of the West Point Campus. Lunch will be on your own in Highland Falls. This Afternoon, you will experience a 2 hour river cruise aboard the Pride of the Hudson. Dinner is included this evening at Shadows on the Hudson.

Day 6 - Friday July 14 - Breakfast is included at your hotel before departing for home. You will stop on the way back at the Norman Rockwell Museum, Stockbridge, MA. You will then continue home with fond memories of your tour to the Hudson Valley.
