Featuring the Cherry Blossom Parade

An early morning departure will bring you to the Holiday Inn Meadowlands Area, in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey. Upon arrival, enjoy a get-acquainted dinner at your hotel.

Breakfast is included at your hotel before departing for Washington, D.C.  Upon arrival, this afternoon, you will check-in to your hotel the Gaylord National Harbor Resort and Convention Center, where they will host a Welcome Reception. During the reception you will have the chance to meet Miss Cherry Blossom and receive your 2022 Cherry Blossom Pin. This evening, you will have dinner on your own and free time to explore the National Harbor.

Breakfast is included at your hotel before meeting your Guide to tour Washington, DC. During the tour you will have the opportunity to see the Japanese Cherry Trees, The Jefferson Memorial, The Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial, The Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial and the newest memorial The Eisenhower Memorial. This afternoon you will explore the Capitol Visitor Center where you will have lunch on your own. After lunch, you will have the chance to explore the Smithsonian Institution's museums at your leisure. This Evening, you will meet back up with your guide to see The Vietnam Memorial, The Lincoln Memorial, and The Korean War Veterans Memorial. You will then return to the hotel for free time and dinner on your own at the Gaylord Resort.

After an included breakfast, enjoy the Cherry Blossom Parade from your Premium-Preferred Grandstand seating.  The Cherry Blossom Festival marks the celebration of the original gift of the 3,000 cherry trees by the city of Tokyo to the people of Washington, D.C. in 1912. After the Cherry Blossom Parade, enjoy lunch on your own at The National Portrait Gallery. The gallery includes the Hall of Presidents which has several official portraits of The United States Presidents. This afternoon enjoy a Cherry Blossom Cruise on the Odyssey III Cruise Ship, a narrative cruise of the sites along the river, dancing to a live band, and a delicious meal!  This evening after dinner you will return to your hotel and enjoy the incredible offerings of the Gaylord Resort and the National Harbor on your own.

Breakfast is included at your hotel. Upon departing D.C.  via Water Taxi you will head to Old Town Alexandria where you will meet up with your Colonial Guide. They will lead you through the cobblestone streets to see sites such as: Robert E. Lee's Boyhood Home, and learn about the abundant Civil War and Colonial history that occurred on those very streets. After the tour, enjoy free time for lunch on your own and shopping. After exploring Old Town you will depart for Holiday Inn Meadowlands Area, in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey where a farewell dinner is included this evening.

After an included breakfast, depart for home with wonderful memories of your tour to Washington DC.
