Your Tour Includes:  Roundtrip motorcoach transportation, 7 night’s lodging, 15 meals, attractions as highlighted in the itinerary, luggage handling for one suitcase per person, hotel taxes, taxes and gratuities on included meals, the services of a Cyr Northstar Tour Director and tour planning services.
 
Payment & Reservations:  A deposit of $200 per person is required to confirm reservations and is due at the time booking.  Final payment is due by May 9, 2018.

Departure Locations: South Portland, Lewiston, Augusta, Waterville, Newport, Bangor and Old Town.

Passports are required for this tour.  Canada can deny admissions to persons with criminal convictions or OUI Violations.

Day 1 – Sunday, June 24

A morning departure begins your tour to The Maritimes and the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo Music Festival, “Canada’s Ocean Playground.”  The scenery is unsurpassed, from the rugged coastline and sandy beaches to the pastoral farmlands.  The culture is varied and unique, shaped by its proximity to the sea and the many people who settled there.  Today, travel to Saint John, New Brunswick where you will enjoy a city tour and a get-acquainted dinner at your hotel the Chateau Saint John

Day 2 – Monday, June 25

Breakfast is included at your hotel before departing for Fundy National Park.  Next you will visit the Hopewell Rocks, and enjoy an included lunch at the park.  Next, continue on to Prince Edward Island, by crossing over the famous Confederation Bridge where you will have a brief tour of the city highlights before checking into your hotel the Rodd Charlottetown.  Tonight you are free to enjoy dinner on your own at leisure

Day 3 – Tuesday, June 26

Breakfast is included at your hotel before travelling to “Anne’s Land”. You will see Prince Edward Island National Park along with visiting Green Gables.This afternoon you will cross the Northumberland Strait via ferry to Cape Breton, NS.  Next, check into your accommodations for two nights, The Silver Dart Lodge. Tonight, enjoy a Maritime Lobster Dinner.

Day 4 – Wednesday, June 27

After an included breakfast begin your excursion along the Cabot Trail. Today you will discover first-hand why Conde Nast magazine readers rated Cape Breton one of the top ten most beautiful islands in the world!  Named for the famous explore, John Cabot, the trail winds for nearly 185 miles around the north shore and is carved into the sides of the mountains that rise high above the Gulf of the St. Lawrence River.  You will travel through the Cape Breton Highlands National Park and visit the intriguing village of Cheticamp, famous for its crafts and Acadian culture, a boxed lunch is included this afternoon. Return to Baddeck and visit the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site.  Enjoy another included dinner tonight at your hotel.

Day 5 – Thursday, June 28

Breakfast is included at your hotel before journeying to Halifax to enjoy some time in Nova Scotia’s capital city.  Today enjoy an overview of the city to include the Titanic Gravesites at Fairview Lawn Cemetery, a stop at citadel hill and a stroll through the Public Gardens.  This evening you will check into your hotel, Double Tree Suites by Hilton and enjoy an included Dinner.

Day 6 – Friday, June 29

Breakfast is included at your hotel before departing to Peggy’s Cove, one of the most photographed places in Canada.  This afternoon return to the city for The Nova Scotia International Tattoo Festival. The Tattoo is unlike any other show in the world.  Military bands, pipes and drums, choirs, gymnasts, dancers, military displays and competitions offer the most exciting entertainment found under one roof. The 7-day event features more than 2,000 of the world’s best military and civilian performers. 

Day 7 – Saturday, June 30

Breakfast is included at your hotel this morning.  Today travel to Grand Pre National Historic Site, where you will learn about the expulsion of the French Acadians from “Acadie”.  Next visit Planter’s Ridge Winery, where you can enjoy a taste of locally produced wines and have an included lunch. Afterward, you will visit Hall’s Harbour, a natural harbor on the upper Bay of Fundy.  Later this afternoon board your ferry for your journey back to New Brunswick.

Day 8 – Sunday, July 1

After breakfast depart for home with wonderful memories of your tour to The Maritimes and the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo Music Festival.
