Payment & Reservations: A deposit of $200 per person is required to confirm reservations and is due at the time of booking. Final payment is due by July 21, 2017.

Day 1 – Sunday, October 1

A morning departure will start your scenic tour to the Shenandoah Valley. Travels today take you to the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cherry Hill, New Jersey where dinner is included this evening.

Day 2 – Monday, October 2

Breakfast is included at your hotel before departing for Orange, Virginia. Lunch is included before visiting Montpelier, the home of James and Dolly Madison. This afternoon, check into the Comfort Inn in Charlottesville, Virginia before an included dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3 – Tuesday, October 3

Breakfast is included at your hotel. This morning, enjoy a visit to Monticello where you will tour the Thomas Jefferson Visitor Center and Smith Education Center before touring Monticello, the home. Lunch is included at Michie Tavern, one of the oldest homesteads remaining in Virginia. This afternoon, visit Jefferson Vineyards where you can sample their many wines. Next, visit Ash Lawn-Highland, the home of Jefferson’s good friend and fellow president, James Monroe. Dinner is at a local restaurant this evening.

Day 4 – Wednesday, October 4

Breakfast is included at your hotel. This morning, meet your step-on guide for a tour of the University of Virginia, which showcases Thomas Jefferson’s architectural talents. This afternoon, tour the Woodrow Wilson Birthplace and Museum where you will see period antiques and artifacts from Wilson’s political career. This afternoon, check into the Stonewall Jackson Hotel in Staunton, Virginia before an included dinner.

Day 5 – Thursday, October 5

Breakfast is included at your hotel before visiting Luray Caverns, the largest and most popular caverns in the East. Lunch is included at a local restaurant before entering Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park. Skyline Drive is not just a road through the park, it is a way to experience the park. You will pass rock cliffs and spectacular vistas. This afternoon, check into your hotel, the George Washington Hotel in Winchester, Virginia, where dinner is included this evening.

Day 6 – Friday, October 6

Breakfast is included at your hotel. This morning you will visit The Patsy Cline Historic House and see the home in which Patsy resided from 1948-53. Continue with a tour of Patsy Cline’s hometown, where she began her radio career. This afternoon, visit the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley dedicated to interpreting the art, history and culture of the Shenandoah Valley. Bid farewell to Virginia as you start your journey home this afternoon. Travel today to the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cherry Hill, New Jersey where dinner is included this evening.

Day 7 – Saturday, October 7

Breakfast is included at your ho- tel before departing for home with great memories of your tour to the Shenandoah Valley.
